“ They have the closest to the type of BBQ, to my hometown of Memphis TN. This is the only place that is very similar to what I was raised up on. Their proportions are huge! The pork sandwiches are a huge 2 hander! The place is always clean, even at their peak hours. The staff is always welcoming and very attentive to the customers. They have a huge selection of food, and the best homemade peach cobbler that I've ever tasted, almost like Grandma's recipe. The location in Newport SC is my fave location. I would say a 10 out of 10 stars.. ”
“ Took exactly 43 minutes to get my food. Now I used to work here when Willers owned it and our times were 9 min or less. Anyways to the food, I ordered a 2 meat plate (ribs and smoked wings) ribs were very dry and barely any sauce on them, the wings were dropped in the fryer and no sauce)with okra that was soggy and not crispy. My daughter ordered the 3 fried tenders with fries, which were inedible due to being raw. Ordered a large side of hush puppies and they were mushy. I am upset and aggravated at the same time given the fact that I was part of the management team back when Willers was the owner and this type of service was unacceptable. The manager at the time was on her personal phone while serving food to dine in customers. Whoever the new owner is needs to get this place back to its roots! ”
